Leadership Training Colorado

Creating a Dream Team – 2 days

If you are truly ready to create the foundations for a dynamically effective team, Creating a Dream Team will give you the tools to do just that. In just two days we will give you an introduction to the most important team building skills from conflict management to developing a clear vision for your team. We will engage in effective exercises designed to apply these tools to your particular work place so that they are immediately useful for your unique work environment.

We can schedule this program in two consecutive days, or, for even greater impact we recommend scheduling the program in 4 half-day sessions over a period of time. We also offer additional in-depth training sessions to address any one of the program objectives below in a more comprehensive manner.

Learning Objectives & Program Results

Day 1

  • Understanding of personality types
  • Building trust
  • Creating a foundation of personal and team accountability
  • Bringing more meaning into the workplace
  • Effective communication
  • Conflict management

Day 2

  • Creative problem solving
  • Fostering greater innovation
  • Delivering effective feedback
  • Asking the right questions – how to coach your team to higher performance
  • Developing a clear team vision, goals and action plan to move you forward

In many of our team building and leadership programs we strive to positively impact the community whenever we can. During Creating a Dream Team, in addition to working on your work place challenges, we can either present you with some real-world challenges of a local non-profit organization and ask your team to come up with some practical and creative solutions that will help your team practice new skills while helping a local organization problem solve OR we can arrange to work with a local nonprofit organization to teach a group of their employees or their clients one of the skills you have learned during the day. The best way to integrate a new skill is to teach it – so if you teach others about accountability or conflict management, chances are you will be much more likely to remember and use the skill yourself.
